The first test, the first time.

I’m watching them work, think, struggle,

knowing I did what I could.

Now it’s their turn to show what they know.

The first test, this time

it’s early in the year. Thank goodness.

Much more to learn this year.

Turn the test in. Sigh of Relief.

I write about literacy education and my love for reading and writing. My passion is sharing titles I use for school libraries, classroom collaborations, and professional development. My goal is to collaborate, research, and share with other life-long literacy learners. Welcome to my blog!

  1. You’ve captured the tension and then relief of a job well done. πŸ™‚

  2. I hate tests!

  3. I’ve never been good on tests! Give me a project!

  4. Great to be finished, now you can really begin, right?

  5. I know how that feel. I remember giving my students their first in library on references. I had to grade my students during their related arts. I hated grading them. I love the tension you build. PS you can use my poem if it is not too late. Just saw your comments. Thanks for stopping by. πŸ˜‰
