I write about literacy education and my love for reading and writing. My passion is sharing titles I use for school libraries, classroom collaborations, and professional development. My goal is to collaborate, research, and share with other life-long literacy learners. Welcome to my blog!

Thanks for sharing the book birthdays. Jeff Anderson is one of my writing mentors- I use his books often in teaching, and I laughed like crazy in his workshops at All-Write this past June. Laurie Halse Anderson is my daughter’s favorite author. She loved her books and sent a message one time on her author site- and was amazed to get a response! As you say- too little time for all the reading.
Another Zack Del la Cruz book! You turned me on to the first one. I’m just about to hand it over to my kiddos. Laurie Halse Anderson is a favorite too. Have you read Ghost by Jason Reynolds? Just handed it off to two boys in my classroom can’t wait to hear what they think.
