IMWAYR: Looking Forward To This Week’s Reading

After a long day, I had a grand opportunity to see Paula Chase, in conversation with Renee Watson, thanks to Brain Lair Books virtual events! Thank you, Kathy Burnette, for hosting a fabulous chat! There are many new books coming out this week, and I want to read them all! I’ll start with…

Turning Point by Paula Chase

My Life in the Fish Tank by Barbara Dee

Vanderbeekers: Lost and Found by Karina Yan Glaser

I also need to get back to my Net Galley reading. I was just approved to read This is How We Fly by Anna Meriano.

It’s Monday! What are YOU reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a weekly blog hop with kidlit co-hosts Jennifer (at www.teachmentortexts.com) and Kellee and Ricki from Unleashing Readers. The original IMWAYR, with an adult literature focus, was started by Sheila at Book Journeys and is now hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.

It’s a great way to share what you’re reading and get recommendations from others. We encourage you to write your own post sharing what you’re reading, link up, leave a comment, and support other IMWAYR bloggers by visiting and commenting on at least three of the other linked blogs.

I write about literacy education and my love for reading and writing. My passion is sharing titles I use for school libraries, classroom collaborations, and professional development. My goal is to collaborate, research, and share with other life-long literacy learners. Welcome to my blog!

  1. I’m jealous of everyone who is reading the latest Vanderbeeker book as well as the new Barbara Dee book. I’m eagerly anticipating BOTH! Also, I fell a little behind on my Netgalley books. I hate not getting reviews posted/submitted before publication date, but it just had to happen due to our big move. Oh well… I’ll get back on track very soon. Thanks for the shares this week, Jennifer!

  2. So many coming out, still a big stack of previous ones this summer. I need not to sleep! Thanks for sharing them all, some on my list, but I didn’t know about This Is How We Fly! Have a great week, Jennifer!

  3. I’m still behind with my Vanderbeeker reading and I love that family! I have finally conceded that I like the idea of reading all those netgalley titles way more than I actually have time for them. It’s a terrible thing.

  4. I’m seeing a lot of people enjoying the Vanderbeekers so I think I should try to catch up. Thanks for sharing your Goodreads list with me!
