It’s back-to-work week and back to reading some excellent MG titles so I can share with my students. Last week I finished Fadeaway by E.B. Vickers, which was excellent! I can’t wait for my students (and staff) to experience the drama and suspense of this gripping realistic story of Jake, the star basketball player with a dangerous secret.

Libro.fm: This week I will continue listening to Land of the Cranes and The Plot, since I’ll be in the car again each day.

NetGalley: I started Thanks a Lot, Universe by Chad Lucas today. I think this one will be a hit at school.

Physical Books: I am so lucky to be a reading nerd! My friend, Beth, shared a special title with me, and I’m so excited to start reading It Doesn’t Take a Genius by Olugbemisola Rhuday-Perkovich! In other book mail news, a giveaway I won came on Saturday. Thank you B.B. Alston! I’m happy to share our signed copy of Amari and the Night Brothers with others.

It’s Monday! What are YOU reading?

It’s a great way to share what you’re reading and get recommendations from others. We encourage you to write your own post sharing what you’re reading, link up, leave a comment, and support other IMWAYR bloggers by visiting and commenting on at least three of the other linked blogs each week.

What a great set of books! Fadeaway sounds intriguing, and I’m hoping to get a copy of Thanks a Lot, Universe when it comes out! I’ve also seen a lot of praise for Amari and the Night Brothers and It Doesn’t Take a Genius. Thanks so much for the great post!
