I should write about flawed predictions more often. Today is a snow day after all.
Strange. I’ve heard the advice before: “Write it down. Make it happen.” Did I do that? Sure, I’d like to think so.
In the meantime, I have the day to read. The Nest has been on my desk for a month, and I just received Pax in the mail.
Maybe I’ll shovel later. (Hmm…)

Poor Birds!
I left school today depressed because of all the snow on the ground — again! Walking out the front doors, I looked and saw…some really FAT robins, hopping around in the parking lot. Poor birds! They must be so confused!

When will we get back to spring?
Then I thought about something my mom said a long time ago; God will provide. So true! My depression turned to hope. If God can take care of these obviously needy birds, and he provides us a nice, warm home, then what do I have to do? Turn my frown around!
That’s just what I did!
Welcome to 2015! Even though it’s the 8th already, it’s a snow day here, so I am able to read and write on my own this morning!
